This comic "gag" depicts five of the republican candidates running in the 2016 election "twerking" for a Mr. Monopoly-like figure. By stripping the candidates down to ladies' underwear and having them "twerk," the drawing implies that the candidates would do just about anything to get money from campaign donors. This comic is a marker of a time in our nation when interest groups and political action committees have had an extreme influence in our elections-giving candidates money if they promise to advance particular issues and pass certain laws. By placing them in women's underwear, the illustrator implies that the candidates will do just about anything for donation money--even things that degrade them rid them of their dignity. By having the wealthy man say that he is "still deciding," the illustrtator implies that the people do not have as much a say in which candidate is chosen as the wealthy donors in our country do. The comic serves to draw attention to the issue that elections in our country are often "bought," and that the interests of corporations and donors have a very strong influence.
